Breakthrough Design was established and built by me, Adriana Morales. Currently, I am student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute pursuing a dual major in Electronic Media, Arts, & Communication and Information Technology & Web Science with concentrations in Interaction Design and Communications. In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding, drawing, and cross country running.
I am a bit of an unusual bird. I come from a military family, an Air Force Brat to be precise. Growing up in the military has played a vital influence in my art and outlook, I have great deal of love and admiration for soldiers and officers. As well, I fond over books of long forgotten military heroes and tales of the old, but I was not born into the wrong century. I love to mix and blend different styles of different eras to create a powerfully eclectic mixture, and my versatility allows me to adapt my style to different projects.
Currently, I’m working with the Albany Institute of Art & History in designing the online exhibition for the “Mystery of the Albany Mummies” show. Additionally, I’m in the process of creating a new body of work for my portfolio this semester.
About Breakthrough Designs
Breakthrough Designs has been around for a few years, but it was not until I entered college that I turned it into a portfolio website. Originally, it was personal design website with no main focus until now. Later down the road I would love to turn it into a free lance design firm, but for now it serves my gallery.
